[mongodb-user] MongoDB 4.1.6 is released

The Server Team is excited to announce that MongoDB 4.1.6 is ready for
testing. Among the numerous bug fixes and improvements

delivered in the past four weeks, some major projects we’ve completed
include:

Faster Initial Sync

The faster initial sync is, the faster you can start using your new or
upgraded MongoDB cluster. We’ve seen a 15% faster initial sync for our
internal workloads after these changes to the cursors initial sync uses.

Improved Auditing Performance

Enterprise users rely on auditing to meet compliance goals and secure their
MongoDB clusters. With 4.1.6 we have made key improvements to auditing
performance.
